Your friendly weekend forecast

G’day kind folks, here is your forecast for the up and coming days, mainly the weekend!

lets start it off with a quick note about Thursday….looking like we could get some good waves all day with a good size swell coming in, probably be around the 3 to 4ft range on most of the beaches, maybe slightly bigger on the more exposed beaches i.e croyde. The wind looks light but could put a bit of a bump on the face as it does seem to be mainly blowing fro the south. As always with that head to p-land for a bit of shelter, and most likely a slightly smaller wave. But generally should be a pretty good day for north devon surfers!

Friday looks like it maybe about the same size, probably a little smaller in the morning and i think it will be getting smaller throughout the day. The wind could also play a bit of havok with it, it may even go onshore. But yet again should be pretty fun for parts of the day with hopefully some size to it.

Saturday is yet again slightly smaller but still a good little swell. Looking like it should be around the 3ft mark at its peak, but annoyingly its coming with some cold northerly winds, and also some west. My advice would be to get in earlier before that wind picks up too much. As always with a northerly wind saunton gives abit of a cleaner wave at high tide.

Sunday should have some nice offshores for us atlast, but unfortuantely the swell drops yet again. Probably to a nice logging wave or for the fish riders out there, there could be some fun lines to be drawn out. But probably looking at 2ft on most beaches. Still a nice wave though with (fingers crossed) some sun and mid teens temperatures!

Worth a drive if your thinking of it, get a few waves in, then down to the local watering hole for a nice tankard of ale…. Until next time
